New Creatures
We have become all-together different creatures. Not only does God have no record of our sins, not only does He not impute them to us, not only has He made us as having never committed them; He has made us as having always done everything right. “God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Are the "we" just ignorant, or are there fewer "we" than we think?
ReplyDeleteDave, definitely the former.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds too good to be true, Ralph
ReplyDeletePowerful word of freedom bro. Keep em comin ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe two sides of the equation cannot be separated; neither side makes sense standing alone. Unless, given one side, you use algebra to solve for the other. Therefore, if someone tells me I am righteous and God looks at me as if I had never sinned, I see that as a partial equation with Jesus having become sin for me in order to balance it out. Hope that makes sense.
ReplyDeleteI'm re posting!!
ReplyDeleteMy heart trusts this, my head gets it all warped out of shape sometimes.
ReplyDeleteLove!!! Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteLove this!
ReplyDeletePrecise words RALPH!
ReplyDeleteGreat, isn't it!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo amazing! I needed that reminder Ralph. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteRemembering this keeps me open hearted with the one who accomplished it!
ReplyDelete^ Spot on, girlfriend! And that's a big deal.
ReplyDeleteNever extrapolated out the "righteousness of God" out in this way to see exactly just how righteous He has made us! Pretty cool, Raphie! Thanks, bro! :)
