Rest Well

Sons and daughters of God, rest and sleep as though you have never failed God or committed a single sin in your entire life, and you will be sleeping by faith in Jesus. Good night.

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Cor 5:21)

But I have committed sins. Glory to God, through the blood of Jesus, they're not imputed to me!

  4. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God (2 Cor 5:21). We have become all-together different creatures. Not only does God have no record of our sins, not only does He not impute them to us, He has made us as having never committed them.

So True! Mostly it's the shoulda, woulda, coulda, that keeps us awake and not able to shut the mind off. There is a rest in Him, God never fails and won't let you, every day is new. Thinking about the past and future keeps the mind awake. Every day is new and He works each one out with you clean of sins, and perfect in Him! Yes sleep well indeed.

It's amazing to me how often secular sources reveal Him - at least that's my experience. Love this, Ralph. Thank you.
