Happy Memorial Day

Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty. - John F. Kennedy

I'm deeply thankful for the men and women who have labored and fought to ensure the liberty my family and I enjoy so much.

Have a great Memorial Day!

I struck me as I read this - how is it that Christians who live in a nation that is so conscious of and diligent about preserving it's political and social freedoms are not equally conscious of and diligent about preserving it's spiritual freedom in Christ. Paul was certainly concerned about it. (Gal. 2: 4-5). I am grateful to the number of authors - soldiers really - who use their writing to help remind me of the freedom I have because of God's grace toward me.

Ralph, thank you for posting this comment and pic and a hearty "AMEN," over here!! "Long may she wave," and no one had better assail try to take our country down! OOH-RAH!!

"Aye, fight and you may die. Run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM!" Braveheart, William Wallace.
